The Thistle Inn is the perfect mix of fine cuisine
and casual fare. We use only the freshest ingredients
and everything is home made, including salad
dressings, fresh baked breads and desserts. The best
way to describe our food is an eclectic mix of
American cuisine with a hint of international
flavors. We let the availability of local produce and
seafood influence the menu. Depending on the season
you can find local Damariscotta Oysters on the half
shell, Fresh Tuna Sashimi, Rack of Lamb, Seared Diver
Scallops with Lobster Risotto and Crème Brule. Our
Pub serves an 8 oz. angus hamburger, creative pizzas
on our homemade foccia crust and "the best" crab
cakes. We are happy to accommodate any special
requests or food requirements, if possible. Just call
us in advance.
There are four dining rooms, each is unique and makes a charming setting for any occasion throughout the year. Two of the dining rooms have fireplaces that lend to the cozy ambiance during the winter and our large private front porch is a delightful place to dine while enjoying the summer evenings. Our library is also available for receptions or private dinner parties.
In the off season, we offer a creative, approachable Winter Menu served with all items priced under $20 and prepared with the same great taste of our summer menu.
Happy Hour runs from 5-6pm with 1/2 price drinks. The Thistle Inn is a great place to
connect with friends and escape into the warmth of our restaurant.

The restaurant is closed on 4th of July, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
